Corporal – CPL

A firefighter that has earned his Basic 150 that is not a technician in a specialty area

Sergeant – SGT

A firefighter that has earned Technician Level in a specialty area

Staff Sergeant – SSG

A Firefighter that has earned the certification of Driver/Operator (Engineer)

Sergeant First Class – SFC

A firefighter that has earned IFSAC FF1, FF2, HazMat Awareness and Operations

Rank appointed to a person that will serve in a technical area and will answer to their respective captain or carry out the duties of the captain in the absence thereof

Captain – CPT

Rank appointed to a person that will serve over a technical division and will answer to the Assistant Chiefs. They will mitigate situations in their respective technical areas

Major - MAJ
