GCFR Shift Information

About Our Shifts

Members on duty are responsible for checking assigned trucks, completing daily chores, and responding first-due units to incidents during the assigned shift.

Each shift includes an Engineer (D/O), Firefighter (P1), and an On-Call Officer.

Specific incidents require alterations to this guideline. Listen to the nature of the call and base your response on the required apparatus and equipment. Know your rigs!

1-3 is order of response

2/3 indicates either unit responds

Y indicates substation response

PR indicates per request
